With the help and guidance of Mr. Cary Edwards and Mr. Will Jibilian,
the Cougars fielded their first golf team in the spring of 2007. The
team of both boys and girls practiced and played their matches at Cobblestone Golf Course.
In 2008, Pastor Keith Bergquist took over the responsibilities of the
head coach and was again assisted by Mr. Will Jibilian. The second
year golf team was fortunate to have the instruction that Coach Bergquist brought to the program.
He is a former professional golf instructor and was very willing to
share his expertise with the players. Both gentlemen will return for
another season on the links with the Cornerstone golfers.
