Steps to Admission & Policies 2011-2012

STEP 1

Attend an information meeting at Cornerstone Prep to receive an application package

STEP 2 Review materials, discuss & pray as a family

STEP 3

Complete application & submit with $50 per student
Application/Placement Fee    (A one-time *nonrefundable fee)

STEP 4

CPA will arrange for Placement Testing, as needed, as well as a
Family interview

STEP 5

Letter of Acceptance/Placement received with registration instructions. An Acceptance letter does not automatically confirm a course schedule.  Due to the nature of CPA, the registration process is wholly separate from the admissions process.

STEP 6

Submit to Cornerstone Prep registrar your child’s requested class schedule with a Semester Registration and Activity Fee. (family max of $250)
(A per semester *nonrefundable fee)

STEP 7

Receive confirmation from registrar of requested class schedule.  Tuition & Material Fees* now due in full, although a monthly payment plan can be arranged.      (A per semester *nonrefundable fee)

STEP 8

Required textbooks and uniforms may now be purchased.  CPA will take care of attendance reporting if you are a full-time (6 classes) student at CPA. Registration as a homeschool student may now be filed with your county superintendent if you are not taking a full load of classes at CPA.

*Cornerstone Prep Refund Policies:

Application/Placement Fee is refunded only if a student is not accepted to Cornerstone Prep.

Registration Fee is only refundable if a family experiences death in their immediate family, loss of work, job transfer out of the area, or if a student does not receive any of the requested classes.

Unused Tuition may only be refunded if a family experiences death in their immediate family, loss of work, job transfer out of the area, a student’s extended illness, or for any course canceled by Cornerstone Prep.  The full financial obligation for registered classes takes place upon receipt of a confirmed class schedule each semester.  Dropping a class or withdrawal from CPA does not alter that financial obligation.

All Fees are nontransferable from student to student.  Any requests for refunds should be made in writing to the Academy Board for consideration.
