The team won the Core Values Award at their first qualifier competition held at the Computer Museum of America. Students worked as a team to solve a problem creatively. They are guided by Cornerstone parent and coach Barbara Garner.
Working on a LEGO Robotics team allows these students to further develop their imagination and critical thinking skills, all while applying and growing their STEM abilities. The StormBots meet on campus each Monday--one of the elementary student's off campus days.
Cornerstone Prep is proud of these diligent and innovative students. Our unique University-Model® allows the students the freedom to pursue their STEM interests while contiuning to achieve high academic success in the classroom.
Final results for the competition will be handed out in two weeks.
