The spiritual goal for every Cornerstone Prep graduate is that they graduate with a biblical worldview. Cornerstone Prep uses several different avenues to teach, engage, and reinforce that purpose. A biblical worldview is infused into every lesson, chapel, student life activities, and of course, our Bible classes.
Students come to know God’s Word and apply it to every area of their lives thru our Bible classes. Parents, in their God-given roles, come alongside their children, to reinforce these lessons.
A person’s worldview answers the major questions of life such as:
A worldview is the framework from which we view reality and make sense of life and the world. "[It's] any ideology, philosophy, theology, movement or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world and man's relations to God and the world," says David Noebel, author of Understanding the Times.
To graduate from Cornerstone Prep, each high school student is required to take the following Bible classes:
- 9th Grade: Humanities, The Bible and Its Influence
- 10th Grade: Religion Understanding the Faith
- 11th Grade: Religion Understanding the Times
- 12th Grade: Comparative Religions/UT Culture (Senior Projects are completed in this class)
For full details on each of these courses, please see our catalog.
Was is a biblical worldview such a high priority for us?
A student’s worldview is their core belief system and the basis for every decision they will make. Just teaching students a few scriptures and worship songs will not prepare them for the world they are about to enter. We want our students to be College Prepared and Life Equipped.
Our graduates can only be truly College Prepared and Life Equipped with the correct biblical worldview. Because of our unique University-Model®, we are very intentional in reaching this goal. Parents, staff, and students can partner together to make this goal a reality.
