Refund Policies 2011-2012
Application/Placement Fee:
This is a nonrefundable fee unless a student is not accepted to CPA.
Registration Fee:
This is a nonrefundable fee. Exceptions are made if a family experiences
death in their immediate family, loss of work, job transfer out of the area,
or if a student does not receive any of the requested classes.
Tuition & Material Fees:
The full financial obligation for registered classes takes place upon
a confirmed family statement each semester. Dropping a class or with-
drawal from CPA does not alter that financial obligation. Schedule
changes do not alter the class charges billed upon registration unless
additional fees are incurred for the new classes.
Unused tuition may be refunded if a family experiences death in their
immediate family, loss of work, job transfer out of the area, a student’s
extended illness, or for any course canceled by CPA.
Sports/Activities Fees:
All policies regarding tuition apply. No refunds, partial or otherwise,
may be given to students temporarily barred from participation in athletic
or other extra-curricular activities due to academic or disciplinary
problems. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is made per season per student to
join a team, with the remainder of the fee due before the start of the
season.
All fees are nontransferable from student to student.
Any requests for refunds should be made in writing to the Academy Board for consideration.
