Mrs. Snow's senior Government classes celebrated Constitution Day on Sep 17, the day the U.S. Constitution was ratified in 1787.
Students were asked to assume the role of one of the signers of the Constitution and convince the citizens of their state that ratification of the Constitution is better for the country than the Articles of Confederation. They were encouraged to dress in period attire and use a creative medium, including 21st-century technology, to convey their message. Some students opted for video presentations, while others created pamphlets and posters.
Overall, the students did an excellent job of filling the shoes of the Constitutional Convention delegates!
