Our Campus

Situated on 16 beautiful acres, Cornerstone feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city, while only being one and a half miles away from downtown Acworth.

Our campus and buildings were designed to feel like a home away from home. Inside our walls, you will find all the modern essentials and technology of a state-of-the art educational facility, but with the warmth and aesthetics of a family atmosphere.

Outside of our physical walls, you will find fresh air, green spaces, an outdoor classroom, an operational garden, and a greenhouse.

Campus Tour in Photos

Exterior of Cornerstone Prep

Welcome to Cornerstone! Our current campus, built in 2015, was intentionally designed to look and feel more like a home rather than a traditional school building. Come inside and take a look!

Cornerstone Preparatory Lobby

Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by one of our friendly welcome desk receptionists, who will sign you in and direct you where you need to go. As you wait, take a few moments to admire the school crest on the floor, learn a few fun facts about Cornerstone, peruse our trophy case, or see where our graduates have headed to college over the years.

Cornerstone Preparatory Playground

Students would say one of the highlights of their day is recess on our beautiful playground. Complete with slides, climbing obstacles, swings, a gaga ball pit, and ample green space, our playground provides plenty of opportunities for students to burn off energy after a morning in the classroom.

Cornerstone Den

Our multipurpose gathering space is referred to as the Den to reflect our desire that this be a place where students and staff can feel at home and comfortable spending time with one another. The Den serves many purposes, including a lunchroom, chapel space, and student lounge.

Cornerstone Preparatory Den's Versatile

Twice a year, the Den is transformed into a theater for our musical theatre productions, complete with a stage, backdrops created by our stagecrafters class, and an AV booth with sound and lighting capabilities.

Cornerstone Preparatory Classroom

Our brightly lit classrooms with large windows create a calming environment that encourages students to learn in a comfortable setting that also allows for effective and interactive class time.

Cornerstone Art Room

Students will enhance their drawing, painting, and creative skills in the art room! Visual art classes provide our students with opportunities to express themselves creatively while learning about the elements and principles of design.

Cornerstone Preparatory Science Lab

In the science lab, our students are provided with the materials and guidance to delve into the vast world of science. With topics ranging from biology and anatomy, to physics and chemistry, there is a focus for every student.

Cornerstone Technology Lab

Our state of the art computer lab provides our elementary students the opportunity to integrate technology into their various courses.

Cornerstone Preparatory Gym

Our fully equipped gym is home to many of our sports teams, including volleyball and basketball. The gym is also used for the P.E. classes and serves as a welcoming respite for elementary students’ recess on rainy and cold or hot afternoons.

Cornerstone Preparatory Cougar and Senior Rock

Pause to take a look at our personalized landmarks. Chosen to represent our school and its students, the Cougar was a gift from the class of 2020. The rock is frequently re-painted by the current Senior class to reflect their personality.

Cornerstone Prep Cougar Field

Next take a stroll to our outdoor field, complete with an electronic scoreboard and spectator benches. Cheers and excitement can be heard at flag football and soccer games, as well as Student Life events such as the Fall and Spring festivals.

Cornerstone Preparatory Green House

Adjacent to our outdoor classroom is the greenhouse. Used by our secondary and elementary students to grow a variety of plants and vegetables, the greenhouse provides students hands-on experience with growing and nurturing plants. Students will see God's creation provide a bountiful harvest before their eyes.
