We would like to invite you to participate in the Cornerstone Mentor Program for the 2023-24 school year.  

The goal of the program is for an existing family to welcome an incoming family.  You could start with a phone call, text, or email to introduce yourself.  If possible, your children could get together over the summer, or you could include them in grade level events.  This is a great opportunity to minister to our new families and make their transition to our school model as smooth as possible.  

The responsibilities and time commitment are minimal.  Any questions that new families may have about curriculum, policies and procedures should all be sent to either Mrs. Daniel, our Elementary Principal, or Mrs. Niswonger, our Secondary Principal.  

As a mentor, you are essentially being a friend to someone new. It is our goal to match you with a family that has a student in the same grade and gender as one of your students. The expectation is that mentors will make a few social introductions before school starts. Once classes begin, mentors should be available to receive questions the incoming family may have about our school and encourage through their transition into the University Model.

This program is such a blessing and we thank you for considering becoming a mentor.
