• Used textbooks may be sold/purchased through Cornerstone's private consignment Facebook page.

Be sure you have the correct edition/ISBN#. Used textbooks are acceptable, but be sure that all the pages are in the text and nothing is highlighted.

A Beka does not allow other vendors to sell their new textbooks. You will need to order these directly from www.abeka.com

•If a required textbook is not listed for a particular class, a textbook or materials fee has been charged along with tuition. This means that Cornerstone Prep is providing the necessary text/supplies/materials. TEXTBOOKS being purchased from the school will be available on BACK-TO-SCHOOL days. Textbook cost is noted here and the appropriate textbook fee will be included on your tuition bill.

•Students will need to have their books for the semester on the first day of class. The school will not be able to make copies for students of missing textbooks due to copyright laws.

Optional e-book versions are available for many of our secondary textbooks. K-6 students will not use e-books.

IMPORTANT DATES:

-Grade level supply lists will be posted on the school website on July 1. Required secondary summer reading and math packets will be available on the website June 1.

-Elementary Parent Training: Thursday, August 5, 2021. Two identical sessions offered: Session #1 is 8 to 11:25 a.m. and Session #2 12 to 3:25 p.m.

•BOOKBAGS: Students may bring a backpack or duffle. Bookbags need to fit into lockers 15” d x 35” h x 17

•If a student is taking a full load of 6 classes (core plus elective/s) at CPA, they do NOT file as a homeschooler. Cornerstone Prep will report their attendance to their county school district.

•To fill in the forms needed to register in Georgia as a home school student (only those CPA students taking less than a full load of classes), go to http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Pages/Home-Schools.aspx and you will find the form you need to send to the state school superintendent, the Declaration of Intent to Homeschool (due by Sept. 1st).

TECHNOLOGY: Chromebooks are required for 7th grade through 12th grade. It is expected that parents will purchase and oversee their student's device. It is recommended that parents choose a parental control software to complement their own oversight of the student's device.
