Award-Winning Author Visits Cornerstone On October 24th, award-winning author and speaker, Jenny L. Cote returned to Cornerstone courtesy of Cobb EMC and Gas South Literacy Week 2019.

Thank you for stopping by the welcome desk for a visitor tag each time you enter the education building. As you exit the building, please stop by the desk to turn your visitor tag back in and sign out before leaving. This will help us keep track of our visitors on campus in the event that we have any type of emergency situation.

Come enjoy coffee, food, and hear information about our shared giving link that blesses all of our Cornerstone staff for Christmas Stockings Cash. Remember there are no fees, and younger siblings are welcome. NEW The assembly introduces a cartoon boy named NED (Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best) who is on a very important mission: to find his mindset. Throughout the performance, students will discover how to activate their growth mindset to overcome social, emotional, and academic challenges.
Note: Yo-yos will be on sale during November 7-14 at lunch to help pay-it-forward for another school to benefit from a NED assembly.

NEW Congratulations to Senior Adam Whitney for placing 9th at the GAPPS XC State Meet on October 26. His time for the 5k was 19:05. Senior Brennan Pritchard's time of 20:34 in the 5k earned him 26th place in State. Way to go Adam and Brennan for representing Cornerstone well!
