Mrs. Pitzer Cultivates Garden-Based Learning Experiences As summer slowly creeps into view, our school garden is about to be in full swing. Next year we are excited to take the garden to another level. We caught up with Mrs. Pitzer, Farm2Fork teacher, to find out more about how our Cornerstone teachers will be using the garden within their classroom as a teaching tool.
NEW We invite our entire school family to join our secondary Worship Ministry Team and Pastor Nolan in a final virtual worship gathering on Fri, May 8, from 1 - 1:30 p.m. Please join us as we share this special time of worship live on our Cornerstone Facebook Page and Cornerstone Instagram. NEW The PTF wants to extend an enormous "Thank You" to our teachers during May 6-15. Normally, we provide teachers and staff with lunch and tasty snacks during the week but this is not a typical year. We know many of our families appreciate their teachers and want to do something special for them. This opportunity is optional and completely voluntary, but if you would like to reach out to your teachers, here are a couple of ways you can communicate with them. If you do not see your teacher's name on this list, please reach out to them by email to express your thanks. An email or a handwritten note from you or your student is always appreciated. If you would like additional ideas of what a teacher may enjoy, Guide Your Gifts contains a list of some of their favorite things. NEW Families, thank you for your patience. We have applied all lunch credits for returning students. If a student is not returning to Cornerstone or graduating, checks will be issued. Credit amounts can be viewed in ParentsWeb in the Family Billing Tab in the "Lunch" section. Please contact Mrs. Martin if you have questions about your refund amount. NEW Help the school be ready to impress for 2020-21. Cornerstone is seeking someone to fill a newly added Facility Painting position.
Questions or interested in applying? Contact Mr. Edmondson NEW We have provided designated dates and procedures for items to be dropped off or retrieved:

You could be a HUGE HELP to new families by being part of the Mentor Program! Whether this year was your first year or your 10th at Cornerstone, you can be an excellent resource for a new family. A newer family often provides some of the best help since the transition is still fresh in their mind. It's easy. As a mentor:
This program is such a blessing, and we thank you for considering being a mentor. Who wouldn't like to receive $50 off their bill? Did you know Cornerstone offers a referral reward? When you are speaking to friends about Cornerstone, ask them to put your name down on their application as the person who referred them. Once the family registers for classes, you will receive an email from Mrs. Freiler notifying you of a $50 credit on your family billing. It's that simple! If you know of someone who would be interested in Cornerstone's University-Model, invite them to request more information and Mrs. Freiler will contact them.
