Have the January doldrums set in yet? The Christmas and New Year festivities are over, the decorations are down, the outside temperatures have kept us all inside for too long, and cabin fever has overtaken us. Help is on the way!

Do you know how much we appreciate our staff and our moms and dads who pour their whole hearts, their time and energy into educating and discipling our children? We are grateful beyond measure for each of you, and we would like to take the opportunity to bless each of you in a very special way.

This invitation is for our ladies (sorry, fantastic dads) to come away and sit at the feet of Jesus, hear His Word, have authentic fellowship with other women and partake of a feast for your souls. We invite you to join us Friday evening, February 9, and all day Saturday, February 10, for our second annual IF: Cornerstone Gathering.
IF: Gathering was founded in 2007 by Dallas resident Jennie Allen, who along with her husband were Dallas Seminary graduates. Allen said, "IF God is real and IF He has saved us, then we have a job to do." Her vision is to "gather, equip, and unleash women to live out God's calling on their lives."
IF: Gathering is an annual conference with a variety of speakers and fellowship opportunities that equip women to do just that. We have the opportunity to watch the simulcast, here at Cornerstone. There will be over a million women watching worldwide.
Allen says, "At IF:Gathering 2018, we are going to spend time looking at 2 Timothy and be reminded that God gave us a spirit of power and love and self-control and not a spirit of fear! We all get tired, we all wonder if what we're doing matters, so this will be the reminder--it will be the celebration. The work we're doing to share the gospel on the earth IS WORTH IT and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees."

We hope you will join us Friday, February 9, from 7-10 p.m. and Saturday, February 10, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the Den. If you can't make it for all of the sessions, please feel free to come and go as needed.

There is absolutely no cost for you. Snacks will be provided Friday night and throughout the day Saturday, along with lunch Saturday.
One of the first questions we get is, "Who are the speakers?" The answer is that we do not know - the speakers are not published ahead of time because the emphasis is on having a heart to hear His Word and not a particular speaker.
