Alumni Spotlight on Cassie Petersen ('19)
WHERE ARE YOU LIVING CURRENTLY?
Birmingham, AL
WHAT DID YOU PURSUE AFTER GRADUATION?
I’m attending Highlands College, a two-year ministry school, and am enrolled in the Events and Conference program.
HOW HAVE YOU SEEN GOD WORKING IN YOUR LIFE SINCE GRADUATION?
The Lord is really teaching me so much about myself and the calling He has on my life since I’ve come to Highlands College. Being involved at Cornerstone and my home church, First Baptist Woodstock, really set the foundation for my life of full time ministry!
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU SHARE WITH CURRENT CORNERSTONE STUDENTS?
Don’t take for granted the opportunities you are given. I’m so thankful to have gone to a high school where Jesus was apart of the core values. Take chapel seriously, learn as much as you can, and enjoy every moment!
