A Warm Cornerstone Welcome

Today our new faculty gathered for teacher training, and the excitement for the upcoming school year is already building! There’s something special about this time of year as we prepare our hearts, classrooms, and plans for the students God will bring through our doors.

This year includes both familiar faces stepping into new roles and several teachers joining our community for the first time. Each one is a reminder of God's faithfulness, and we're excited to see how He will use them to point students to Christ this year.

Elementary:

Maria Andrews- 3rd History and Science

Genevieve Doyle- 1st/2nd Grade Awesome Science & Bible Elective

Lauren Stone- 1st English, Math, and History 

Heylem Williams- K-2 Spanish Electives

        "Hola, my name is Mrs Williams and I am excited to teach “Spanish for fun” for kindergarten through 2nd grade! My goal is to make learning Spanish engaging and enjoyable through fun activities while introducing students to basic words and phrases, along with a glimpse of Latin American culture. I hope this class will inspire a love for learning a new language and encourage students to one day use it to build relationships and share the hope of the Gospel." 

Erin Worrell- Kindergarten

Secondary: 

Maria Andrews- Dual Enrollment, Psychology & Human Growth and Development

Janet Burr- School Counselor

Sara Haire- Health and BPE 

Amanda Puckett- PreAlgebra II & Algebra I

Amanda Winkler- Middle School Bible

         “I’m beyond excited to be teaching the Middle School Bible this year! We’ll be using Route 66 to explore the story of the entire Bible, helping students see how every part points to God’s incredible plan and how His Word speaks into our lives today. One of the things I’m most excited about is helping students realize that the Bible is living, true, and relevant. Jesus has completely changed my life, and I love getting to share what He has done for me while encouraging students to grow in their own relationship with Him. Our seventh graders will begin in Genesis, and our eighth graders will start in Matthew. I’m looking forward to a year filled with meaningful conversations, growing faith, and discovering more of who God is through His Word. It’s going to be an amazing year!”
