Make a Lasting Impact: Pay It Forward Information Meeting: Thu, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in The Den

Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Cornerstone Prep students while also benefiting from a unique tax-saving opportunity? If so, we invite you to join us for the Pay It Forward Information Meeting on Thursday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. in The Den.

A Real Difference Through Real Stories

As we look forward to the upcoming information session, we’re hearing firsthand from families who have experienced the benefits of the Pay It Forward program. Here’s what they have to say:

“Our family has been a part of Cornerstone for well over fifteen years. Over those many thousands of school days, so many teachers, administrators, and other parents have encouraged, supported, and enriched our lives. Participating in the Pay It Forward program every year is just one way we can say “Thank you” to the school for loving our children so well. It takes very little time, maybe fifteen minutes to apply online to donate and to receive a scholarship (if you have a Cornerstone student), and fifteen more minutes to make the donation after it is approved. For that small investment of time, the benefits are substantial: we support Cornerstone and all the other Cornerstone families who apply for the scholarship, receive a federal tax deduction, and reduce our Cornerstone tuition bill. It is a win-win scenario. In essence, Pay It Forward allows us to redirect money we already pay in state taxes and channel it to a cause we deeply care about, Christian education for our own children and yours.” The Odom Family

“Our family participates in the Pay it Forward program every year. The amount we donate we will get 100% of it back as a tax credit. It’s really nice to have that credit when it comes to tax time! Another reason why we participate is for the scholarship money. The total amount of donations Cornerstone receives is divided up equally and distributed among the families who participate in Pay it Forward. Who wouldn’t want scholarship money to use towards tuition? It’s truly a win-win situation!” The Koebcke Family

“This is our fourth year participating in the Pay It Forward program. It’s a good way to contribute to the school and enable other kids to attend, all while lowering our own tuition costs. It’s easy to sign up, and we’re grateful for the opportunity each year.” The Eubanks Family

“Pay It Forward is absolutely beneficial financially if you have a student at Cornerstone. It will lower your tax liability and, although not guaranteed, may give you a credit on what you pay in tuition. It’s a program we recommend Cornerstone families look into.” The Baker Family

Participating doesn’t cost you anything- Join Us!

We all have to pay state taxes anyway, so why not participate in the QEE Tax Credit program and:

  • Provide scholarships for students
  • Support your favorite private school
  • Know exactly where your tax dollars are being spent
  • Receive a 100% state tax credit

If you're a parent, grandparent, or small business owner, if you plan to pay Georgia income tax in 2024, this opportunity is open to you. It’s not only an impactful way to give, but it also provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, ensuring your contribution benefits both you and the school.

Join us on Thu, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. to learn how you can make an impact with the Pay It Forward program. This is an incredible opportunity to manage your tax liability while giving the gift of a Christian education to deserving students.

For more information please contact Lora Vifquain, Director of Development, at lvifquain@cornerstoneprep.org. We can’t wait to see you there!
